Hell's Kitchen

A good overview of the neighborhood is available on Wikipedia here. In Hell's Kitchen you can still find small "mom and pop" businesses, including specialty food stores. The flea market's located in "Hell's Kitchen South," the part of the neighborhood south of 42nd Street. The market offers a sweeping view of midtown Manhattan including The Empire State Building, The New Yorker Hotel, and the new New York Times Building.
